Cancer Care Resource is committed to reducing barriers to care, providing hope, and supporting cancer patients, survivors, and their families throughout their journey.
In partnership with Michael Alan Furnishings through the annual Sleepless in Havasu event, we provide FREE 3-D Mammograms to anyone 35 or older- No physician referral is required.
Through the generosity of local cancer survivors, we match newly diagnosed patients with a survivor who has experienced a similar journey. This one-on-one peer support offers encouragement, understanding, and hope from someone who has truly walked the path.
Through our partnership with Renee Hudson’s Annual Rugged Radio Fundraiser, we provide financial assistance to individuals who have received an abnormal mammogram and need additional diagnostic testing.
In partnership with Mohave Community College, we offer scholarships to students pursuing careers in the Health Sciences, helping invest in the future of healthcare in our community.
We offer free transportation to and from the Cancer Center for patients and caregivers, helping ensure reliable access to treatment.
Working with the Havasu Regional Medical Center Cancer Center, we provide every newly diagnosed patients with a comfort bag filled with thoughtful items to help support them during treatment.
In partnership with Cooking for Cancer, we provide financial assistance for critical needs that arise during cancer treatment.
In partnership with Frontier Skin & Cancer, we provide FREE skin cancer screenings to members of our local community. We are also developing a financial assistance program to help individuals who require additional testing or treatment, reducing barriers to timely care.
A registered nutritionist is available by appointment to meet with cancer patients and provide personalized nutrition guidance during treatment and recovery.
Each month, we feature a local cancer survivor in our community newspaper. By sharing their personal story, survivors inspire hope, promote the importance of early detection, encourage others facing a cancer diagnosis, and connect our community with the resources and support available through Cancer Care Resource.
We promote wellness and early detection through screenings, risk assessments, and healthy living support to help prevent cancer before it starts.
We provide education and resources to empower individuals and families with knowledge about cancer prevention, treatment options, and survivorship.
